The Canon A490 is the perfect option for divers and snorkellers who wish to rent a camera for the day but don’t want to worry about confusing settings and complicated buttons.

These cameras have been specially chosen for their suitability to the underwater environment. They take excellent quality, 10 megapixel photos which can be blown up to A3 size and can also film short movies. They have large, clear screens, controls that are easy to understand underwater and functions including various scene modes and manual white balance to ensure you can get the best pictures while diving or snorkeling.

These cameras are available for 850 Baht per day. The price includes a cd of your photos to take away and enjoy.

For those budding photographers with a bit more experience, we have a Canon G10 available for rent. These cameras are excellent for taking photographs underwater and produce fantastic images. With 14.7 megapixels, a 28mm wide-angle lens, full range of shooting and recording modes including RAW and JPEG for ultimate creative control and Canon’s new DIGIC 4 Image Processor you’re certain to be able to hone your skills and capture some wonderful shots of the Andaman’s special residents.

This camera is generally only available for rent to those people enrolling on the Liquid Lense advanced Photography Courses or to those who already have good experience taking pictures underwater.
