Top View Resort is a small, family-run, backpacker style resort situated on the northern cliff top of Kantiang Bay, Ko Lanta. It has a total of fourteen rooms with a choice of fan or Air-Con.
Each bungalow has an en-suite bathroom, cold water shower and balcony with fabulous views that span Ko Rok, Ka Haa and Ko Phi Phi.
Even if you don’t stay here, it’s worth the hike up the top of the cliff to catch the sunset and amazing panoramic views around the bay.
Nine of the fourteen rooms are ‘Concrete’, 2 of which have Air Con, and as a cheaper alternative, there are three primitive but comfortable ‘Bamboo’ rooms. All rooms have nets to keep the mosquitos at bay, and cool tiled floors which extend out to balconies overlooking the breathtaking views. Free entertainment is provided by the naughty monkeys, but be warned swimwear left out to dry can go mysteriously astray!
For a communal viewing experience there is a quaint viewing hut close to the Sud Sud Bar and Top View Restaurant; the ideal spot for a sunset cocktail! The relaxed friendly atmosphere complements the bamboo bar whilst the poised disco-ball lights indicate the potential for a party!
Open all year round the resort offers an in-house massage facility for those who wish to relax, whilst for the adventurous a tour operator is also in service.
