La Laanta Hideaway Resort is situated at Ao Mai Phai or Bamboo Beach and is the very last resort on Koh Lanta Yai, just before Lanta’s National Marine Park in the very south of the island.

La Laanta Hideaway Resort is remotely located far away from the mass tourist’s belt up north and set in the heart of tropical rainforest with our own beach at the southern tip of Koh Lanta.
It is a true cast away resort, but with complete modern facilities to ensure your holiday is as comfortable as you would wish.
You can dine either in Cast Away restaurant with its rustic design or right on the beach capturing the picturesque sunset.
The Cozy Lounge is a fine choice for daytime relaxation, with comfortable stylish sofa beds, an internet corner and library. The Ahoy Beach Bar offers a natural beach atmosphere, with the sound of waves lapping at the shore in the background, and soft trendy music which you can enjoy with your favourite drinks until late.
For sunbathing, you can choose your own favourite spot from any of our many sun beds, which are placed by the poolside or on the beach. We have 2 beachfront swimming pools with the higher sky edge infinity pool integrated with Jacuzzi and kid’s pool and the lower pool almost at beach level. Both pools offer an unobstructed view of the sea and of course, the famed Ko Lanta sunset.

La Laanta Hideaway Resort Bungalows
La Laanta’s 20 tastefully decorated villas and all are equipped with modern amenities, your own private front porch and tented shelter, nestle under the shadow of green forest cover and are well spaced apart for privacy. Most villas are beach view and you can see the picturesque sunset even from your bed.
The villa exteriors have been designed in harmony with the rainforest using yellow soft earth tones on the walls and light brown thatched roofs on the villas. The wooden terraces are sheltered under the brown tent sheets which contrast with blue poles to enhance the castaway feel of the resort.
Villa interiors include a traditional Thai wooden bed platform. One signature feature in every villa is the hand painted art on wall facing the front porch which is painted by a renowned artist from Bangkok with a different variation in every villa.
All bungalows are equipped with first class materials and fittings; best quality beds and bed sheets, finest Thai textiles, artist’s painting on wood as well as superior toiletries like body wash, shampoo and lotion for you to pamper yourself with.

Sand Castle Villa
Five individual angled beachfront villas scattered around the swimming pools on the beach front. You can have an obstructed view of the beach from the private terrace lounge chairs, and through the transparent glass of the wide terrace doors with the curtains drawn; you can even view the superb sunset from your bed.
The Sand Castle Villas come with a king size bed and the interior is furnished in traditional Thai rustic concept.
The villas are large enough to comfortably add an extra bed as well as a baby cot.

Sunset Splendor Villa
Four individual angled Sunset Splendour Villas can be found just a few steps behind the Sand Castle Villas; they are identical and share the same amenities and decoration as Sand Castle along with wonderful view of the beach.
The villas come with a king size bed and the interior is furnished in traditional Thai rustic concept.
The villas are large enough to comfortably add an extra bed as well as a baby cot.

Horizon Gaze Villa
Seven individual Horizon Gaze Villas nestle under the shadow of the rainforest in the heart of the resort and are surrounded by lush tropical gardens.
The villas are slightly smaller than Sand Castle and Sunset Splendor Villas.
The villas are available in both twin or double beds and are large enough to comfortably add an extra bed and a baby cot.

Enchanted Villa
These four luxurious villas are similar and share the same amenities as Horizon Gaze Villas except that they are adjoining. Kindly note that there are no connecting doors between the villas.
Recommended for a group or family who wish to be close but retain privacy.
The villas are only available with twin beds.
