Get some fantastic tips on how to capture great underwater images, then make three dives with an underwater video camera - both under direct supervision and with special underwater exercises to help you capture great images.
Spend a day using our editing suite and learn how to capture and edit your footage, add music & effects and burn your dive movie to DVD for you to take home and show off to your friends.

Who is this course suited to?
This course is designed for divers thinking about taking up underwater videography as a hobby, or those simply interested to try it for the first time.
The aim is to provide you with an excellent introduction to underwater videgoraphy. By the end ofthe course, you should feel fairly comfortable taking a video camera underwater, including how to set-up and take care of the housing.
The course is also ideal for people looking to gather some great underwater memories from their holiday.


Typical Itinerary:
- On day one, meet your instructor at our studio and begin to learn about the camera you will be using for your course.
- Receive a basic introduction to film-making and make a short movie on land to get familiar with your video camera and begin to practice some techniques.
- Once you are happy with your camera, learn about the set-up & care of underwater camera housings and set-up your video camera for the next day.
- To finish day one, learn about some important & simple underwater techniques to get your started on the right foot.

- On day two, we cover the key safety procedures, before making your first dive with one of our videography experts at your side.
- After the dive, we discuss any problems you had with the camera and try to solve them before making a longer second dive to start to capture some nice footage.
- During the surface interval, we provide you as much feedback as possible to make sure you get the most out of your next dive, giving you tips on buoyancy, composition and other techniques.

- On the last dive, once you are more familar with the camera, we will try filming some different subjects and practice simple techniques to improve your footage, while collecting more underwater footage for your dive DVD.
- Arriving back at the dive centre at around 2pm, we will have a look at your footage and give you an introduction to video editing. Then we will make a DVD from your footage to take home and enjoy.
